Softball Indians win
The School of the Osage softball squad improved its record Thursday by defeating St. Elizabeth 19-14, the Indians’ first win over St. Elizabeth.
Osage Pitcher Tiffany Newiler led the team going 4-6 with five RBIs. She also record the win on the mound by pitching five innings in relief with eight strike outs.
Tennis Indians win
The Lady Indians recorded a 9-0 shutout victory over Sedalia Thursday afternoon. The team improved to 3-0 on the season. Leslie Barnes led the way winning No. 1 singles 8-0 and teaming with Gabby Kern in No. 2 doubles for an 8-2 victory.
Indian golfers lose
The Osage Lady Indians golf squad fell against Waynesville in a tightly contested match 235-239.
Indians head coach Brenda Hayes said in an email that she is happy with how the team is improving.
Amber Bishop took team medal honors with a round of 53 for nine-holes.
