The lake level was 658.5 (660 is normal pool level) and with medium generation, the lake should hold there through the weekend. Truman Lake is 1-foot over pool with light generation scheduled. The surface temperature at Bagnell Dam is 83 degrees and 82 to 87-degrees upstream depending on the location, time of day and air temperature.
Little has changed in the fishing report, the thermocline remains about 30-feet-deep throughout most of the lake.
LARGEMOUTH AND SPOTTED BASS – One evening tournament reported last week taking 14.3-pounds to win.  Lower Osage: Good for small fish early on surface poppers. Fair later, try Bulls Eye jigs and 7 or 10-inch Berkley Power Worms on lake points.  Glaize Arm: Poor to fair, fish are scattered. Try shaky head jigs tipped with a 7-inch blue-fleck Power Worms, also try Norman’s DD22 on points.  Mid-Lake: Fish are scattered, some on main lake points, some in the backs of coves. Try buzzbaits or Heddon’s Zara Spook in shallow areas around laydowns. Also, try Power Worms deep on main lake points.  Niangua Arm: Good for small fish early on Berkley Frenzy Poppers. Later try Power Worms or crankbaits like Norman’s DD22 12 to 16-feet deep on points.  Gravois Arm: Fair, fish are scattered. Try jigs or shaky heads 8 to 10-feet deep.  Upper Osage: Good but fish are scattered. Try plum colored Power Worms in the backs of coves and on secondary points.  Osage 60 MM: Good on Eakins’ jigs dressed with Paca Craws fished around shallow docks.   
CRAPPIE – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Very good on minnows and shad colored Rapala Shad Raps.  Lower Osage: Poor on minnows.  Glaize Arm: Poor, try minnows 8 to 25-feet deep around brush.  Mid-Lake: Poor to fair, fish are scattered. Try jigs or minnows 25-feet deep.  Niangua Arm: Poor, try Blakemore Road Runners or minnows under slip bobbers alongside dock brush.  Gravois Arm: Poor, try minnows or jigs 8 to 25-feet deep around brush.  Upper Osage: Poor, try chartreuse and black plastic on Road Runner heads.  Osage 60 MM: Fair on minnows or white jigs 10 to 12-feet deep.  Osage 89 MM: No reported fish.  Truman Dam Tailwater: Slow for both size and quantity.     
WHITE AND HYBRID BASS – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Very good on Worden’s Rooster Tails.  Lower Osage: No reported fish.  Glaize Arm: Poor, look for fish running shad on windy main lake points.  Mid-Lake: No reported fish.  Niangua Arm: No reported fish.  Gravois Arm: No reported fish.  Upper Osage: Fair around islands, points and in the main channel. Try Rooster Tails.  Osage 60 MM: Fair to good, troll 1/4-ounce Worden’s Rooster Tails.  Truman Dam Tailwater: Slow for both species. 
WALLEYE – Niangua Arm: No reported fish.  Truman Dam Tailwater – A few walleye are reported on jigs.
CATFISH – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Good for channel cats on Sonny’s or Geno’s prepared bait and fresh shad.  Lower Osage: No reported fish.  Glaize Arm: Fair on shad sides.  Mid-Lake: Very good on nightcrawlers or shad halfway back in coves.  Niangua Arm: Excellent on Berkley’s Gulp! Catfish Dough or nightcrawlers, 8 to 10-feet deep in coves.  Gravois Arm: No reported fish.  Upper Osage: No reported fish. Osage 60 MM: Excellent on nightcrawlers or prepared baits. Also, try brightly colored perch on juglines. Osage 89 MM: Very good on shad.  Truman Dam Tailwater: Slow, try cut shad.
BLUEGILL – Excellent on nightcrawler pieces, Berkley’s Gulp Earthworm or small pieces of Gulp! Alive! Minnows around docks.   
NOTE: The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and 55-mile marks; the Osage 60 MM is between the 55-mile mark and the 89-mile mark; and the 89 MM is between the 89 MM and the Rt. 65 Bridge.
