Smiles for Life campaign benefits Y.M.C.A and children’s programs
Dr. Ronald Massie is helping children in need - one smile at a time.
This spring and summer, as part of the Crown Council's Smiles for Life campaign, Massie and Premier Dental and Oral Health Group offered teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price. Proceeds were donated to help children facing serious health and educational problems.
So far, the annual Smiles for Life campaign has raised more than $25 million to help children's charities at home and around the world.
During the four-month campaign, they raised more than $10,000. Half of the funds were contributed to the Tri-County YMCA of the Ozarks. The other half was contributed to Garth Brooks' Teammates for Kids Foundation for use in health, education and inner city programs that benefit children.
"We had a great campaign this year and would like to thank everyone in the community who came out and helped to make it a success by purchasing whitening services during our campaign," Massie said. "It has been great seeing the beautiful smiles on the faces of the children our contributions are helping to support."
The Smiles for Life Foundation is the children's charity organization of the Crown Council, an organization of dentists throughout North America. Each year, participating Crown Council dentists offer the service with proceeds going to children's charities.
