In it’s first match of the season the Camdenton Lakers women’s tennis squad was no match for the visiting School of the Osage Indians.
Laker head coach Ted Houx chalked the loss up to “opening night jitters,” saying that the Lakers made too many unforced errors.
In No. 1 doubles the pair of Katie Burkhardt and Sandra Shore lost to the Indians pair of Ashley Uhl and Abby Naudet 3-8. The Lakers also lost No.2 and No. 3 doubles.
