The Lady Laker tennis team opened the 2014 season at the Kickapoo tournament Friday, Aug. 22,  finishing 1-2 in pool play.The Lakers lost 1-8 to a tremendous Jefferson City team in the first match of the tournament. The single winner in that match for the Lakers was Finessa Rassel at the No. 1 spot.
